Group of enamel snuffboxes, 20th C

A group of twenty-eight English enamel snuff boxes

Twenty-four of the boxes are Halcyon Days, two Staffordshire and two are by Crummles; together with a Halcyon Days enamel music box, a porcelain powder container, a Chinese enamel covered box, a gilt metal and enamel etui and an enameled egg form ornament. (33)

Condition Report: Twenty-four of the boxes are Halcyon Days, two Staffordshire and two are by Crummles. Twenty boxes in overall good condition with a few minor light abrasions. One box (Je t'aime) with some scratches around the base of the box. Two boxes enamel lid has come loose from it's metal mount. Five boxes enamel base has come loose from it's metal mount and lid. One box is Chinese enamel in generally good condition. Etui with wear and discoloration to gilding and chip to enamel near rim. Musical box: the box has come loose from its metal mount and lid, but otherwise good condition. Porcelain container in overall good condition. Gilt metal and enamel egg with chip losses to the enamel, some spotting/discoloration to the enamel, glue residue to the flowerhead on base of egg.
