R.G.A.) with cap badge and should titles, all housed in a custom made leather and base line case, generally good very fine (5) £360-£400

Herbert Sadler was born in Ruddington, Nottinghamshire, in December 1881. He attested for the Royal Garrison Artillery in January 1903, and advanced to Sergeant in July 1914. Sadler served during the Great War with the Royal Garrison Artillery in the French theatre of war from 6 June 1915. He advanced to Battery Quartermaster Sergeant in October 1916, and was serving with the 34th Trench Mortar Battery from November 1916.
Sadler advanced to Battery Sergeant Major and was discharged, 25 January 1924, having served for 21 years (awarded L.S. & G.C. in April 1923).
Sold with copied research, the majority of which is laminated.
