M.I.D. London Gazette 11 December 1917 and 5 July 1919.
French Reconnaissance Medal, 3rd Class, bronze London Gazette 8 March 1920.
Felix Patrick Smith served in France with the 7th (Service) Battalion, Royal Lancaster Regiment from July 1915 (Wounded). He was promoted to Temporary Captain on 9 July 1915, and to Temporary Captain and Assistant Provost-Marshal on 16 May 1916, holding that appointment until June 1922.
