London Gazette 3 June 1919:‘For valuable services rendered in connection with the War.’James Bradford was commissioned into the Hampshire Regiment, and served with the 14th Battalion during the Great War on the Western Front. Wounded from a fall in a trench whilst on active service, he was repatriated to the U.K. in 1917.
