Executed circa 1917-18.

Condition Report:
This work is in very good condition. Executed on cream wove paper. The sheet is hinged at the upper left and upper right corners of its verso. "H" inscribed by another hand in the lower right corner. Minor handling creases to all four corners, with an additional flattened crease extending across the upper right corner. A few minor scattered stains. A few dime-sized areas of skinning to the sheet, most notably near the sitter's chest and above the sitter's head. These are possibly inherent to the artist's process. Otherwise, fine.
