Panther Sculpture Art Deco, animal bronze by GUY DEBE Art Deco sculpture depicting a hunting panther. The laying of the panther is very vigorous and at the same time conveys a feeling of strength but sinuousness. This sculpture is made by the Art Deco sculptor Guy Debe, an artist active early 20th century in France. It is a very elegant but decorative object. The body material of the panther is a mixture of metals called babbitt metal and the base is an oval black marble. The sculpture is in mint condition and no restoration is required. It comes with its original patina, the marble has some signs of wear which are totally consistent with its age and a gentle use beforehand, but no structural damage.
