H. Acton Marble Sculpture

Hugh Acton, American, 1925-2018. A mid 20th century Marble abstract sculpture. Nine globes of varying size on a plinth and base in shades of White and Taupe. Incised "Acton" signature at center globe. Some surface wear and minor flakes to globes, two 1/2" areas of repair to plinth edge, and small chip to base. 16 1/2" high. ESTIMATE $1,000-2,000 NOTE: Includes an appraisal from Robert L. Kidd Associates/Gallery, Birmingham, Michigan dated March 1978.
