A 19th century late Empire rosewood bookcase, richly decorated with intarsia, , top carved with ornamentation, upper part with two glass doors. H. 212. W. 91. D. 54 cm.

Literature: A similar akroterion can be seen Mirjam Gelfer-Jørgensen: “Guldalderdrømmen - Dansk nyklassicistisk møbelkunst 1790–1850”, p. 462.

Condition Report:Wear. Marks and scratches. Restored. Damages/missing ornamentatin on the top ornamentation. Key is enclosed. Some handles on drawers is missing. Some loose intarsia. Cracks in the wood.
