Lot Essay
The Endeavour Tourbillon Funky Blue perfectly embodies H. Moser & Cie.’s distinctive approach to contemporary high watchmaking, combining restrained aesthetics with one of traditional watchmaking’s most prestigious complications. Its minimalist design places the tourbillon firmly at the centre of attention, while the manufacture’s signature fumé dial lends the watch an unmistakably modern character.

The striking blue fumé dial features a metallic sunray finish that shifts continuously with the light. Entirely devoid of hour markers and branding, its remarkably pure surface is interrupted only by elegant leaf-shaped hands and the large aperture at 6 o’clock revealing the one-minute tourbillon. The mechanism incorporates Moser’s characteristic double hairspring system, designed with two opposing hairsprings.

The 42 mm. white gold case is defined by its flowing, sculpted profile and is further elevated by a diamond-set bezel, providing a striking contrast to the pared-back character of the dial. The brilliance of the diamonds beautifully frames the intense blue fumé surface while retaining the elegant proportions of the Endeavour case.

Visible through the sapphire crystal caseback is the automatic calibre HMC 804, featuring H. Moser & Cie.’s modular tourbillon and providing a power reserve of approximately three days. The movement is finely finished with perlage and broad stripes, while a solid gold oscillating weight completes the composition.

Manufactured in Schaffhausen, H. Moser & Cie. combines extensive in-house production with components sourced predominantly from local specialists, with over 95 per cent of the watch produced in Switzerland. The Endeavour Tourbillon Funky Blue brings together this traditional approach to manufacture with the pared-back, contemporary aesthetic that has become a defining signature of the brand.
