Half Hull Model, of a trawler built by Mackie & Thomson, Glasgow, Scotland, with partial name still legible 'Earl', possibly for the "Earl of Devon" or "Pearl" - both built by this firm in 1891, with Mackie & Thomson name plate lower right, mounted on a velvet covered backboard, in a molded wooden frame, 10 3/4" x 35". Losses to top model edge and back rudder, paint losses, dings and scratches to model, backing cloth tears/losses.
