Woodcut, circa 1505. 236x161 mm; 9½x6½ inches, thread margins. Second state (of 2), with Dürer's monogram on the side of the seat. Cross on three mounts with a flower in a circle watermark (Meder 157, which he dates between 1566 and 1594). A very good impression of this scarce, early woodcut, with strong contrasts and little to no sign of wear.
