HEAD OF A BEARDED MAN, PROBABLY JOHN THE BAPTIST Southern Germany, beginning of the 17th century, in the style of Jörg Zürn (ca. 1583 – prior to 1638).
Wood, carved all around and with remains of paintwork. With closed eyes, probably a head that was formerly part of a St. John's bowl.
