This is a vintage Native American Eskimo Inuit Figurine.
The figurine is made from soapstone and is very large beautiful.
It shows an Inuit man holding a seal.
It is signed at the bottom. Probably the figure is made by Pauloosie Akitirq from Arctic Bay / Ikpiarjuk.
The details are amazing.
This is very large and heavy piece.
It is app. 9" by 4" and it is 8 1/2" tall.
It is 4.44 kg or 10 lb
It is in good vintage condition with some small scratches.
