HEDDON 156 IN GOLD WITH BOX & PAPER
A catalog color for only four years from 1907-10. This nice Dowagiac Minnow grades Very Good Plus with a little bruising on the back and some overvarnish on the belly, which ironically may have helped keep the belly weight in such nice condition. Cup-rig hangers unstamped spinners, solid glass eyes, and 3 bold sets of HPGM. The Very Good Plus box has just a little wear and some fading to the red. It is a type V from the right era, however it is marked for a three-hook minnow in Fancy Back. The Excellent Minus insert is also period-correct, dating to 1907. From the Stephen & Christine Rebic collection. 3 - 1/4" Lure Dimensions: Box: 6" x 2 - 1/2" x 1 - 1/2".
