HEER OFFICER'S DAGGER
Heer officer's dagger with scabbard and hanger, 10 in. blade and 14.5 in. overall. Though a bit oxidized the pommel nut and crossguard still exhibit fine detail. The celluloid grip has aged to an attractive pumpkin color. Some running marks are seen on the blade, otherwise in excellent condition with a sharp tip, maker marked on the blade by WKC Solingen. The pebbled scabbard is fine, with no dents or dings, and all fittings secure. Attached to the scabbard is a set of hangers with an oak leaf motif on the clasps, one clasp appropriately marked ‘D.R.G.M.'. A very good example.
