From 1876, the painter from the Düsseldorf School studied painting at the Düsseldorf Art Academy with Andreas Müller, Heinrich Lauenstein and Peter Janssen. He mainly painted forest landscapes from the Harz Mountains, the Eifel, the Vogelgebirge and the Odenwald.Show more
