Condition Report:
Executed on buff wove paper laid down on cardboard. There is a milky varnish preventing UV light from fully penetrating. However examination under UV light appears to reveal lines and small spots of retouching in places, some of which associated with repaired tears or repaired paper losses, most predominately along the edges and towards the upper right corner. There is a small area of paper skinning associated with cosmetic retouching below the fountain. There is a small paint loss to the left hand figure's ankle. There are lines of craquelures in places, some of which possibly related to repaired tears, most predominately to the lower part of the composition. The sheet is light stained with a few flyspots in places. There is frame rubbing with small paper losses along the extreme edges. This work is in overall fairly good condition and could benefit from a light clean.
