Worked as supply clerk and ultimately accountant for Chicago Telephone Co. (later AT&T) in the 1920s-1940s.He studied at the Art Institute of Chicago and later settled in Michigan City, Indiana. Reents was a member of the Indiana Art Club and exhibited at the Hoosier Salon.He married Grace V. Stineman (1891-1979) March 30, 1937 in Chicago.Reents died August 13, 1983 in Broward Co., Florida.
