(3) Sketchbooks of pencil sketches and watercolors taken from landscapes in America and Europe: one with (25) watercolors having location identified (mostly Maine and New Hampshire), dated 1881; the second with watercolors of the Hudson River Valley, and Europe, dated 1884; the third mostly pencil sketches of the New England coast, dated 1868-69. None are signed but in his style and with his handwriting throughout. (2) 5" x 10" & (1) 5 1/2" x 8". Worn bindings, sketches generally very good. Provenance: From the Estate of Albert P Neilson
