HERMANN GOERING''S COPY OF "THE ENEMY''S SOLDIER"

Hard-cover book, "Der Soldat von Gegenuber" ("The Enemy's Soldier"), by Maxim Ziese and Hermann Ziese-Beringer (Berlin: Frundsberg-Verlag), 1929. 325pp. 4to., bearing the ex-libris bookplate of Reichsmarshall HERMANN GOERING on the front pastedown. This bookplate features Goring's blind-embossed name beneath an engraving of a knight, with his personal seal in the upper-right corner. The book provides an account of the Allied armies of World War I from a German perspective, complete with 154 b/w images and 14 graphic representations and maps. Shows some rubbing and bumping to the corners of the spine, else very good.
