HERO KEROSENE STAND LAMP
HERO KEROSENE STAND LAMP, colorless, spherical font raised on a ribbed brass stem and double-step marble base with brass ornamentation, brass fine-line collar. Fitted with a period No. 2 lip burner and later shade ring, colorless lip chimney with scalloped top, topped with a free-blown and engraved Oregon shade. Probably Atterbury. Second half 19th century.
Condition: Undamaged except for shade having a couple of minor flakes to the fitter.
Size: 19 1/2" HOA, 12" H to top of collar, 4 1/2" SQ base. Shade: 6 1/2" H, 3 7/8" D fitter.
