The case is in very good condition with few scratches. The case is full. The case back is in good condition with few scratches. The engraving is crisp to the case back. The inside of the case back has watchmaker's marks. The dial and hands appear to be original. The dial appears to have been cleaned in the past. The dial is heavily patinated. All hands are rusted. The luminous material in the hands has darkened and is largely missing in the hour hand. The Gay Freres bracelet is in good condition with scratches. The chronograph function is working at the time of cataloguing. The movement is in working order at the time of cataloging, consistent with the age of the watch. The movement has not been tested for accuracy. A service is recommended given the age of the watch.
