CONDITION REPORT:
The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The case has scratches and nicks throughout. The case number is visible between the 6 o'clock lugs. The side of the lugs on the 3 o'clock side of the case have heavier scratches. The case appears to have been lightly polished. The crown shows signs of age with a small amount of discoloration and is a later replacement. The edges of the back of the lugs show signs of wear. The back of the lug at 11 o'clock has the numbers "86744" hand-etched to it. The case back is in good condition with light scratches. The inside of the case back has watchmaker's marks. The dial is in good condition and appears to be original. The dial has some yellow spotting between 1 and 2 o'clock and 6 and 9 o'clock. The dial is co-signed "Galli." There is a small scratch beneath the Galli signature. There are some light drag marks between 7 and 9 o'clock. The hands have developed patina. The hands have been re-lumed. Some luminous material in the minute and hour hand has been lost. The chronograph function is working at the time of cataloguing. The movement is in working order at the time of cataloging, consistent with the age of the watch. The movement has not been tested for accuracy. A service is recommended given the age of the watch.
