HIRES ROOT BEER REVERSE PAINTED GLASS 5¢ SIGN

A rare example of this small reverse painted glass sign from Hires Root Beer, featuring a wonderful 5¢ graphic. This piece retains its original chain hanger as well as chain border. CONDITION: The black background and gold leaf outline of the lettering remains very nice with good color and shine. The inner parts of the gold lettering show areas of damage and very insignificant amounts of retouching at some point in the past. The backside of this sign has a nice red velvet backing. There is a small chip to the glass in the top-center border. Condition: (8.75). Dimensions: D - 5"
