HISTORIC ROCKLAND, MAINE EXTERIOR INN SIGN WITH
"The Captain Lindsey House Inn, est. 1837", a double-sided oval dimensional mahogany sign with bas relief lettering and ribbon decoration, painted and gilded, having an iron band binding to the edge with hanging loops, very heavy, 50" x 37" x 5", weathered; PLUS the original hand forged iron hanging bracket, black painted, in the form of a natural branch with oak leaves and nut clusters, wonderfully sinuous, also very heavy, having a wall plate with multiple bolt holes for mounting (was on a brick wall), roughly 75" x 36" x 9", very good condition.
