HITLER YOUTH KNIFE
A superb, early example of a Hitler Youth knife, 5.5 in. blade etched ‘Blut und Ehre!', checkered black grip with inset enameled Hitler Youth emblem, blade marked ‘Carl Schmidt Sohn Solingen' with the firm's identifying device of a house. Black steel scabbard bearing 80% of original paint, with pigskin hanger. Blade bears a bit of scratching from an overzealous polishing in the past, else near fine condition.
