HITLER YOUTH SUITCASE
Hitler Youth suitcase, 19.75 x 11.5 x 5.5 in., belonging to a Wilhelm Halbau from district Sud Baden. The lid is hand painted (probably by Wilhelm) with the Hitler Youth eagle, his name and membership number, and the 'Gebietsdreieck', or 'district triangle', where he was from. This suitcase probably contained all his belongings when he was either in camp or barracks or when they went on 'Fahrt' ('trip'). Nothing is ripped or damaged, showing some slight signs of wear, including some external scuffs and some spots of staining to the interior. Both locks appear to function, yet the key is not present. Very good to fine condition.
