HOWARD JOHNSON WEATHERVANE: Howard Johnson's "Simple Simon Met the Pieman" figural silhouette weathervane made of cut sheet iron. Depicts "Simon" and dog with Pieman carrying his pies on either side of a lamppost. Originally designed for Howard Johnson restaurants located in/around an HJ's motor lodge. Resides in makeshift stand/base. Approx. 40" h x 32" w. Base is about 12" in diameter.
