– Bartholoni collection.
– Wildenstein, Paris.
– While in storage at the Château de Sourches, Bordeaux, confiscated by the Einsatzstab Reichsleiter Rosenberg (ERR Inv.-no. W89) and subsequently transferred to the Jeu de Paume Museum, Paris.
– Salvaged from the storage site "Lager Peter" in the Altaussee salt mine and brought to the Munich Central Collecting Point (MCCP Inv.-no. 218/10).
– Returned to France, 31.7.1946.
– Wildenstein, Paris, 1949.
– Sale Sotheby's, New York, 14.1.1988, Lot 203.
– Sale Christie's, New York, 26.1.2012, Lot 280.
– European private collection.
