Hajime Sorayama, Three works: (i-iii) Untitled

Executed circa late 1970s.

each 28 1/2 x 20 1/8 in. (72.4 x 51.1 cm.)

Condition: These works are in good condition.

(i) (Tomato Soup) All 4 corners are slightly bumped. There are minute areas of lifting to the upper layers of the paperboard at the extreme corners, visible only upon very close inspection. There are scattered losses to the extreme edges of the board, visible upon very close inspection.
(ii) (Towel girl) The upper left corner of the board is slightly bumped. There is evidence of some minor adhesive residue to the upper right edge of the board, visible only upon very close inspection.
(iii) (Bathing suit) All 4 corners are slightly bumped. There is a minor scuff in the lower left quadrant, visible only upon close inspection. There are minute areas of lifting to the upper layers of the paperboard at the extreme corners, visible only upon very close inspection. There is evidence of minor staining to the upper right vertical edge and along the extreme top edge of the board, possibly due to mat burn. There are scattered losses to the extreme edges of the board, visible upon very close inspection. There is a tiny piece of tape residue in the lower left quadrant by the edge, visible upon close inspection.

All works are framed with a canvas-covered wood support in Plexiglas box frames.
