On the obverse we find the bust of the elderly Queen Victoria "veiled", bordered by the inscription "VICTORIA DEI GRA BRITT REGINA FID DEF IND IMP". On the reverse a modified design of the classic St. George and the dragon by Benedetto Pistricci, in which St. George is nude, apart from his Roman helmet and cloak, and wears a Spartan short. At the bottom we find the mint date "1893".
