Hallmark Peanuts Ornaments & Figures
A collection of themed ornaments and seasonal memorabilia primarily featuring characters from the Peanuts comic strip. The group consists of numerous Hallmark Keepsake ornaments in their original retail packaging, including series such as the School Days Magic ornament with sound, the 2001 Hallmark Keepsake Ornament Club edition of The Sleeping Village, and a 2004 set titled The Peanuts Games. Also included is a 2002 Club ornament featuring the snowman Stanley T. Starr and a non-Peanuts Hallmark ornament featuring George Jetson and Astro from The Jetsons. A series of smaller ornaments titled Happiness is Peanuts All Year Long is present, featuring characters in various seasonal roles such as New Year's Celebration Snoopy and Linus in Waiting for the Great Pumpkin. Other items include an animated Snoopy Santa plush in a display box, a red doghouse-shaped ornament display stand, two waterball ornaments, a ceramic mug depicting Lucy at her psychiatric booth, and a 2005 wall calendar. The collection also features two lithographed tin containers: one large red tin in the shape of Snoopy's head and a smaller blue Woodstock lunchbox tin. A green plastic Snoopy racer is included, resting on a box for a Christmas Carol Clock. The lot is rounded out by a set of small decorative chalkboards with wooden frames and a Woodstock stocking ornament. Most boxes are printed with the Hallmark Keepsake logo in a stylized red and gold font. Licensing marks include PEANUTS UNITED FEATURE SYNDICATE, INC. and Peanuts by Schulz. Several boxes bear white adhesive price labels from Gale's Christmas Shoppe. Materials include molded resin, plastic, plush fabric, ceramic, and lithographed tin.
