Hamilton Gibbs Wilde (American, 1827-1884) "Granada Market," oil on canvas, 1859, depicting an Orientalist open-air market scene, monogram signature and date lower right: "HGW '59," bearing period labels with handwritten inscriptions on reverse including Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts, and Great Central Fair, Fine Arts Section. Image: 12" H x 20.75" W; frame: 21.5" H x 30.5" W x 2.5" D. Provenance: Previously sold at Doyle from the Estate of Lee B. Anderson (Lot Number 1012, September 19, 2012). Small patch repair, minor frame rubbing.
