Hanau - Höhensonne - S100

One of the finest examples of the German Bauhaus-Period. Light green lacquered metal with aluminium and mirror reflector. The top part with an aluminium reflector and light bulb opens up revealing a mirror and the electrical cable with its plug. Model name: "Klein-Höhensonne S100", Original Hanau Manufactured by: "Ges. m. b. H. ", Germany, 1920s-1930s Bauhaus design In excellent vintage condition. Mirror, light bulb, cloth covered electrical cable and plug which folds neatly inside the lamp. Some normal wear consistent with its age. Very slight haziness and oxidation on some parts of the mirror.
