Hand Carved Wooden Sculpture of a Large Donkey

This lot contains a beautiful hand carved wooden sculpture of a donkey kicking and a man sliding off his back. The artwork is signed on the back left by R.Volcy. Volcy used palm wood to sculpt his piece because of its softness. This item is approx 32" x 12" and weighs about 26lbs. The base the donkey stands on is 15" x 8". The woodcarving is in good vintage condition with some wear and scratches. There is a crack around each of the donkeys hooves where the animal connects to the base.
