Hand painted lidded vessel, vintage, possibly antique. Underside marked with SÈVRES trademark, the letter B is at its center, the letter A is underneath the hallmark. Lid depicts a man helping a woman off of or onto a horse. Illustrations on front and back depict waterfront locations. Scrolling gilt detail g decorates vessel, on a royal blue base. Interior is upholstered and cushioned. Wear is consistent with age and use. Measures approx 2 inches h and 6 inches w.
