Handmade Maritime Ratan Basket Purse c2000. This vintage basket purse features an oval hard body with a domed lid inset with an oval plastic faux scrimshaw disc with the image of old ships in a harbor (possibly Nantucket). As well as a bent wood hinged handle attached with carved bone accented pins, and a loop closure with a carved bone pin to secure it. The purse has oval hard woo elements in the base and lid. It is marked on the base HHJ 2000. It measures 8.5'' high by 11'' wide by 6.5'' deep. It is in good condition with minimal damage. If you have any doubt, please ask questions!
