Handwritten Letter from Rabbi Yehuda Segal Rosner, AB"D Székelyhíd
Handwritten and signed letter dated 1936 from Rabbi Yehuda Segal Rosner, addressed to Rabbi Chaim Meir Braun, menahel of the Ungvarn Yeshiva students.
Rabbi Yehuda Segal Rosner (1879 - 1944) was the Av Beis Din of Székelyhíd and a leading rabbinical figure in Hungary. He taught thousands of disciples in the tradition of the Baal Shem Tov and was known for his holiness, piety and Chassidus. Beginning in 1905, he served as Av Beis Din and Rosh Mesivta of Székelyhíd. His letters were published in Imrei Yehuda on Talmud, Torah and Pirkei Avos. He was murdered along with his community on Shavuos of 1944.
