Handwritten and Signed Letter by David Ben-Gurion. Haifa, November 1966

Letter sent by David Ben-Gurion to Israeli poet and author Aryeh Chorshi. The letter was sent to the Berl Katznelson school in Holon (during the period Chorshi served as principal of the school). In the letter, Ben-Gurion writes that due to his beloved wife's health, he must stay in Haifa a few more days, and he hopes that he will be able to meet Chorshi soon. He continues, writing, "I am very busy these days, but I hope that in another week or two I will be more available ... I don't know if I will prepare precisely ten commandments - but I will attempt to prepare something - the youth studying at the primary and secondary schools will finally shape the image in the following ..."
