Hannah Van Buren (born Hannah Hoes; March 8, 1783 - February 5, 1819) was the wife of the eighth President of the United States, Martin Van Buren. She died in 1819, before Martin Van Buren became president. He never remarried and was one of the few presidents to be unmarried while in office.

John Chester Buttre [Auburn, NY, June 30, 1821 - Ridgewood, NJ, Dec. 2, 1893. Worked as a wood engraver in Auburn; moved to new York City in 1841. Specialized on line engraving illustrations for magazines. He successfully established his own business and employed other engravers. Buttre remained active until his death.
