Although designed in 1976, the table was first built in 2016 and was an individual piece manufactured on behalf of Michael Böhm, a grandchild of Professor Ernst Böhm (https: //de. wikipedia. org/wiki/Ernst_B%C3%B6hm) . Until recently the table has stood on permanent loan in the Munich showroom of light designer Ingo Maurer. The table has a maple frame. The tabletop consists of MDF with a high gloss varnish.
