Unique bronze statue with a beautiful size by the Austrian-German sculptor Hans Keck (1875-1941) . The statue depicts a boy in traditional attire with a walking stick in one hand and a basket in the other. The statue is beautifully crafted with perfect patina and made with great attention to detail. The object stands on a marble base.

The statue is signed at the base and also has a foundry mark.

The object is in excellent condition and shows no signs of use. The statue will be shipped well packaged using a track and trace code.

Keck worked as an artist in Berlin between 1900 and 1925. Here he mainly made chryselephantine statues of bronze and ivory, which are considered typical of the transition from Art Nouveau to Art Deco style. For the craftsmanship of his works, Keck collaborated with the casters of the Wiener Kunstwerkstätte, the Brandel brothers. Berlin.
