Hard to find hand-embroidered bedspread with CANTU 'LACE (1) - Pure linen - 1950
Majestic bedspread in 100% linen. Embellished with rich embroidery in Cantu lace and english stitch, completely handmade. A masterpiece of the 1950s, a unique and rare work. Part of a personal trousseau. Fabric and embroidery in ecru linen, embroidery in English stitch with grey silk thread. Never used. In excellent state of preservation, it was guarded like a treasure. With minimal signs of ageing, almost nonexistent. The photos do not do justice to the true elegance of this bedspread.
