Harley-Davidson - WL - 750 cc - 1948
Restored Harley Davidson WL 750cc in working condition. Comes with exrtra lamps and original leather bags. And comes with windshield with ANWB logo. Acquired in 1990. Has been standing in heated showroom for many years after the restoration. Was driven for the last time for circa 1 km in 2010. See the Youtube videos: https: //youtu. be/ZNLT8t. Er_RA https: //youtu. be/j6v. YONb. GEA4 Old Dutch documents. Registered in the Netherlands on 22-3-1954. Year of build: ±1948. Engine nr: A 35 RLD 1244 A Frame nr: 3A 41827 A (see papers) According to an American HD expert this bike is consistent with a 1948 WL Harley. Likely it has had a replacement engine installed. HD produced a large number of WL engines without serial number for replacement The repair shop was supposed to stamp the old engine serial number onto the new engine so the bike registration number did not have to change. I suspect this is one of those engines and whoever originally put it used an incorrect serial number. Motorcycle can be inspected and picked up in Nijmegen, Netherlands
