Harry Borden - Kylie Minogue 1998

This portrait of Kylie was taken in London on 3/1/1998.
It was commissioned by the Observer magazine to accompany an interview.
It was shot on a Hasselblad and lit with a tungsten 'red-head' light, on colour transparency film and then cross processed (in colour negative chemistry) to increase the contrast and intensify the colours.
This print was made at the time and printed in the traditional analogue way with the negative and an enlarger.
After it was used by the magazine, it was returned and has been stored in an archive for 26 years.
It has a few tiny marks picked up whilst it was handled and also commensurate
with it's age but will look fantastic when framed.
