Provenance: The Vincent Price Collection for Sears, No. G O 35000. Vincent Price collaborated with Sears in an attempt to bring Fine Art to the masses by hand selecting works of art to be sold in Sears Stores from 1962-1971, beginning in the Denver, CO Sears store. Price was given carte blanche in terms of putting the collection together. The program was expanded to ten stores and by the end of its run 50,000+works of art were sold.
