In this twist on the old newspaper-at-the-table domestic-gag routine, Blondie Bumstead pulls a pistol on Dagwood Bumstead in retaliation for his ignoring her over breakfast. A water pistol, that is. The unbilled ghost-artist takes slight liberties with originator Chic Young's style: Young seldom applied such an angry facial expression to his leading lady. Ink over graphite on Bristol board, with an image area of 7.25" x 10". The Blondie logo is missing. Adhesive residue remains. Very Good condition, with marginal spot-staining.
