Harvey Kurtzman (1924-1993)

Harvey Kurtzman Playboy "Little Annie Fanny" Beatles Parody Unpublished Preliminary 4-Page Story Original Art and Reference Material Group of 15+ (HMH, 1968). Unpublished and even un-finished, this four-page story would have featured the Fab Four.... Paul McCarthy, John Lennon, George Harrison, and Ringo Starr! These are some of the original Kurtzman layouts for the pages, long with a photocopy of the complete four-page layout that would have been supplied to Bill Elder for final work. The prelim pages were created by Kurtzman in graphite on sections of onion skin paper. These pages are approximately 16" x 20". In Good condition. NOTE: Contains eight pages (of various sizes) of original prelim art, four photocopies, and a bag of various reference material on Ravi Shankar (newspaper clippings, and a LOOK magazine).
