Large gold-lacquered sandstone Buddha head with a finely curled hairstyle and ears with long lobes. His serene face is partially covered with gold on a black lacquer base. All the characteristics of the ayutthaya style are present for this buddha head, oval face, the average mouth seems slightly smiling, the eyes are half lowered with strongly curved eyelids, the brow lines draw two thin edges (whose) the curves of which meet at the root of the nose, small hair curls, separated from the forehead by a band and the usnisha finishes the headdress. Height with base : 54,50 centimeter
