Black chalk, heightened with white, on faded blue paper
170 by 136 mm; 6¾ by 5⅜ in.
Condition Report:
Laid down on to the remains of an old decorative mount. The paper would have originally been blue, as indicated by the extremities of the sheet which retain much of their original blue color. There are some brown stains to the sheet most notably to the upper right corner and lower right edge as well as some minor stains throughout. The combination of chalks remains reasonably well preserved throughout, with the overall image legible. Sold in a giltwood frame.
